Cancer Exercise Specialist Workshop

This two day course is for all health and fitness professionals who wish to expand their knowledge to include working with cancer patients and survivors. Class is held from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Candidates will gain a complete understanding of the entire cancer process from diagnosis and treatment to reconstruction (for breast cancer). Upon completion of the two day workshop and passing a take home multiple choice and essay exam, candidates will receive a Certificate of Advanced Qualification.

Home Study Program

Home Study Program participants wishing to attend a live workshop may do so for free. Call or email to reserve your spot.

Cancer Exercise Specialist Advanced Qualification workshops presented by President, Andrea Leonard, may be held at your fitness, wellness, educational, hospital, or health care facility. To request dates or for more information contact CETI at (503) 502-6776 or (971) 221-2590.

You will provide the facility; a conference room or classroom setting is acceptable. There must be an adequate number of tables and chairs along with a blank wall or screen for the power point presentation. We bring our own projector and, when necessary, sound equipment. We ask that the environment be free from outside noise and distractions to allow for the best educational experience. Your facility will be advertised on our online schedule. Your facility will receive one complimentary registration for each two-day workshop. A minimum of 15 paid participants is required. If there are more than 20 there will be a 20% discount given per person. Participants are not limited to employees from your facility.

A non-refundable deposit is required to schedule the workshop and reserve the dates. Materials will be sent out once the deposit is received. The balance for your employees is due one month prior to the workshop date. We will also advertise on our website to participants outside of your facility. We will handle all of the registrations and payments. For anyone registering through our website (in addition to your minimum number of employees), you will receive $25 per person. If you want the workshop to be exclusively for your employees let us know when booking the workshop. 

Earn 1.7 ACE or 1.5 NASM CEU's (1.9 NASM CEU's for Home Study) - Most other national certification organizations recognize ACE and NASM CEU's.
